The ESS unit produces up to 440kW with the potential to replace a 500kVa diesel generator.

Multiplex was in need of reliable, energy-efficient power to handle a large-scale construction site without the costly and disruptive use of diesel fuel. They were looking for a solution to address on-site noise pollution, high emission output and overall worker safety.Ā

The Solution

The AMPD Enertainer Unit

Blue Diamond Machinery supplied AMPD’s Enertainer 500kW unit to ensure construction-scale, low emission power.Ā  The AMPD Enertainer unit was able to power a four-building project comprising two high-rise residential towers, and two buildings offering resort style amenities.Ā The unit successfully powered the site using the electrical grid without relying on a diesel generator.

The Outcome

85% Overall Carbon Savings

Using battery energy storage, the Enertainer unit saved the construction site an 85% reduction in CO2 emissions and an 80% reduction in overall fuel costs. Without the need of a diesel generator, it eliminated direct on-site emissions and drastically lowered noise pollution, resulting in a cleaner, quieter site for both workers and residents
